How long will it take to receive my Hunter Douglas shades?
Usually your shades will arrive 3-4 weeks after ordering. We will call you when they arrive to schedule an installation date.

Which Hunter Douglas product is right for my home?
The best way to find the right product is to come to our Hunter Douglas Gallery in Kingston or Rhinebeck and see some of your options in person. Our knowledgeable staff will help you choose the perfect type of window covering for your personalized needs. Will someone come to my home to measure my windows?
Yes. One of our experienced staff will come to your home to take precise measurements for window coverings. We require a measurement fee before scheduling measurement. This fee will be credited toward your account once the order is placed. We recommend visiting the Hunter Douglas Gallery in Kingston or Rhinebeck to look at products first, so we can measure properly for the type of treatment you prefer.

I have children and pets. Is there a Hunter Douglas product that takes their safety into consideration?
Hunter Douglas leads the charge when it comes to the safety of your children and pets. Take a look at their Child Safety page for more information.

I am interested in re-upholstering a piece of furniture. What is that process like?
First, provide us with a photograph of the piece you wish to reupholster. We will be able to give you an approximate cost for the labor required and the number of yards of fabric you will need for the project. Then, come to our Kingston shop to choose a fabric from our fabric library, or provide your own fabric. Fabric cost is then added to the labor cost for your total project cost. Drop off your piece of furniture to our Kingston shop during business hours, or schedule a delivery and pick-up with us for an additional fee. Please allow 6-8 weeks from the time we receive the fabric to complete your project. Fill out our request form here to get the process started, or call 845-338-0800.

Do you install window shades?
Marigold Home is a Certified Installer of Hunter Douglas window shades.

Do you repair window shades?
Marigold Home will accept most Hunter Douglas shades for repair. We will send your damaged or broken shades to Hunter Douglas headquarters for repair. Most shades under warranty are repaired free of charge, and others are assessed by Hunter Douglas. Marigold Home will charge a $65.00 shipping fee for all repairs. If you need a replacement part for your Hunter Douglas shades, we do have some small parts available in our Kingston shop.
